History

The Kishco group was promoted in 1938 by Mr. K.G. Nariman and his father.

The group was initially engaged in the manufacture of polyester and poly/woollen high fashion suiting and stainless steel/silver plated cutlery.

It also comprised a general trading office wherein all kinds of merchandise was handled.

Thereafter in the 1980’s, the management decided to do away with manufacturing keeping in mind the changing scenario in India.

Also with the advent of globalization in the early 1990’s it was decided to specialize in an industry and due to its vast experience and brand image the management selected the textile industry.

Today the group is managed by Mr. K.G. Nariman's daughter - Mrs. Minoo Nath – Managing Director who looks after the financial and adminstrative aspects of the business and her son Mr. Nohar Nath – Executive Director who takes care of sales and marketing. Both of them are vastly experienced and well travelled, infact Mr. Nohar Nath is an M.B.A. from J.B.I.M.S. which is one of the premier institutes for management studies in India.

They are ably assisted by a young and dynamic group of professional managers with the office strength being 20 persons.
